SluggerData ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our baseball card research site.
Information We Collect
- Your account name and email, if you sign in to keep a watchlist. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, our identity provider, which holds the account and any password. We never see a password.
- Information you provide directly (watchlists, preferences)

Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Third-Party Services
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures site traffic. Our portfolio analytics dashboard records clicks on recognized retailer links; Vercel hosts the dashboard and Upstash stores its click records. Vercel receives ordinary request data when the script and click request load. Retailers and marketplaces separately handle your visit under their own policies.
Cloudflare Web Analytics and our retailer-click tracker do not set cookies or store identifiers in your browser. Clerk, which handles sign-in, does use cookies and local browser storage for authentication state even before you sign in. These are separate from analytics and are needed for account features.

No passwords, because Clerk handles sign-in and never shares one with us, and no payment details, because SluggerData sells nothing directly. We do not sell, rent, or trade any of it.
Deleting Your Data
Stopping the emails. The unsubscribe link in any email marks your subscription inactive. The emails stop right away, but the record stays in our database.
Deleting the record. Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we will erase it, including any account and saved list. Requests are handled by hand, so allow up to 30 days, and we will confirm once it is done.
